The stretched Lincoln Continental convertible is an exact version of the one that was used to chauffeur the US President from 1961 until his infamous death on November 22, 1963 in Dallas. The Kennedy car is now displayed at the Henry Ford Motor Museum in the US but has a permanent hard roof and bullet proof glass that were installed after the shooting. Historical opportunity: This Lincoln limousine, the twin car of the one that John F Kennedy was assassinated in is coming up for auction That fateful day: President Kennedy with wife Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally and his wife Nellie Connally ride together in the Limousine in Dallas on the day of the assassination, November 23, 1963 It's twin version, which goes under the hammer in Belgium on October 11, wasn't modified and so is unique as identical to the JFK limousine at the time of his assassination. RELATED ARTICLES Share this article Share It was commissioned by the White House in 1963 - the same year as JFK's death so he never rode in it. It is in immaculate condition with only 560 kilometres on the clock. The left hand drive car, that is expected to go for between $120,000 and $220,000, has two rows of rear seats, extra wide doors to enable VIP passengers to get in and out with ease and internal radio telephones. Distinctive: The twin car of the the JFK limousine with its running boards and handles at the back for secret service men Interior: The Lincoln limousine stretches 21ft and weighs 3.5 ton monster. It is powered by a massive 440 inch V8 engine It also has four distinctive retractable running boards meant for Secret Service agents to stand on, two permanent footplates at the back and two grab handles for the bodyguards. And it comes with the US Presidential Seal on both sides and on the floor mats and the Stars and Stripes and Presidential flags on the front. Its sale will now provide people with the macabre opportunity to travel in the same fashion the former president of the US was used to. The dark blue car has belonged to the owner of a French motor museum for that last 30 years. It is being sold by London-based auctioneers Bonhams. Rarity: One of only two ever made, the stretched Lincoln Continental convertible was commissioned by the White House in 1963 - the same year as JFK's death - as an exact replica of the one already used by him The coachbuilder's badge (left) and the manufacturer's plate (right) of the rare Lincoln Limousine Philip Kantor, Bonhams' head of European motoring, said: 'This car is an exact replica of the one JFK was assasinated in and was built by the same coachbuilders. 'It is as close to the the JFK one as you are going to get. It is a one off, we don't know of another one that is identical to the Dallas limousine as this one. 'They weren't mass produced because there was no consumer demand for them. 'It was a parade car and was made to run at speeds of between 10mph to 40mph. 'Its sale is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a faithful replica of this historic vehicle on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the JFK assasination. 'This car really should be for a private collection, you wouldn't drive this down to the pub.' HISTORY OF JFK'S PRESIDENTIAL LIMOUSINE After JFK's election in 1961, the White House commissioned a Presidential limousine from Ford and specified that the car had to be a convertible. They took a Ford Lincoln Continental to specialist coachbuilders Hess & Eisenhardt in Cincinnati, Ohio who stretched the 17ft car by nearly 4ft. It came with seven different types of hard top, including a transparent roof, but hadno armour plating. The 21ft, 3.5 ton vehicle was powered by a massive 440 inch V8 engine. The JFK limousine - codenamed SS 100X - was driven through Dallas by Secret Service agent William Greer on the day of the assassination. JFK and his wife Jackie were sat in the back seat while Texas governor John Conally was positioned in the jump seat directly in front of the president at the time of the shooting. After the world-changing event, the car was sent back to the coachbuilders and fitted with titanium armor, bulletproof glass and given a permanent hard top. It was used by Presidents Johnson, Nixon, Ford and Carter before it went to the Ford Museum in Michigan in 1977. The twin car is being sold at auction in Belgium on October 11. Last year the hearse which carried John F Kennedy's casket fetched $160,000 when it was auctioned off.

Just as the backlash over his now infamous CBS interview appeared to be easing, Bill Belichick has sparked more confusion over his relationship with Jordon Hudson. If you have any thoughts concerning exactly where and how to use [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ limo rental new york city], you can speak to us at the web site. Hudson, nearly 50 years younger than Belichick, was on the receiving end of a huge backlash in May after CBS shared footage of her interrupting the 73-year-old Belichick's interview when they asked about how he met his girlfriend, 24. It sparked intense scrutiny over the controversial couple, with one of Belichick's former [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ limo rental new york city] England Patriots players questioning his sanity while friend Charles Barkley said he would stage an intervention. A month on, the couple have appeared to be trying to keep a lower profile. But a [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ limo rental new york city] report from the New York Times explains how a reporter tracked down the address for a [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ limo rental new york city] England-based lawyer called Joshua Christian, who is the listed resident agent on several of Hudson's LLCs. But when the reporter knocked on the door, Belichick himself answered. The report describes Belichick as wearing North Caroline blue gym shorts and adds: 'His usually stoic expression is decidedly less so, though, replaced instead with something between confusion and unease.' Bill Belichick reportedly claimed he hasn't heard of Jordon Hudson's legal representative The article continues: 'Belichick tells me he doesn't know a Joshua Christian, who organized his girlfriend's LLCs. So if this isn't Christian's property, I ask, is it Belichick's? Silence. There's the coach everyone knows.' Shortly after the CBS backlash, Hudson competed in a beauty pageant in Maine, finishing third. She appeared to address the intensifying scrutiny placed upon her with a speech to the audience, where Belichick sat alongside her father Heath. 'I'm feeling an immense amount of pride right now,' she said. 'I hope anyone who's watching this finds the strength to push through whatever it is that they're going through, and embodies that hate never wins.' Daily Mail exclusively reported after the CBS interview that Hudson had amassed a $9million real estate portfolio since she began dating the NFL great. Belichick himself is preparing for his first season in college football as the head coach of North Carolina after failing to land a return to the NFL following his Patriots exit in January 2024. The couple have been under intensifying scrutiny in recent weeks after his CBS interview Hudson's unwanted influence has stretched onto the football field, as well. The iconic 'Hard Knocks' series reportedly had a lucrative deal to film Belichick that was derailed by a string of demands from Hudson. She reportedly wanted advance viewings of each episode and to be credited as an executive producer. The makers of the series eventually decided to scrap their involvement with UNC. NATO Needs More Long-range Missiles To Deter Russia, US General Says

Europe relies heavily on U.S. for If you have any thoughts pertaining to the place and how to use [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ limo rental new york city], you can get in touch with us at our own website. long-range missiles Russia has used long-range missiles in its war in Ukraine U.S. set to deploy long-range missiles on European soil Agreement was reached under Biden administration Berlin seeks clarity on whether deployment will go ahead By Sabine Siebold BERLIN, July 11 (Reuters) - NATO will need more long-range missiles in its arsenal to deter Russia from attacking Europe because Moscow is expected to increase production of long-range weapons, a U.S. Army general told Reuters. Russia's effective use of long-range missiles in its war in Ukraine has convinced Western military officials of their importance for destroying command posts, [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ JetBlack] transportation hubs and [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ limo rental new york city] missile launchers far behind enemy lines. "The Russian army is bigger today than it was when they started the war in Ukraine," Major General John Rafferty said in an interview at a U.S. military base in Wiesbaden, Germany. "And we know that they're going to continue to invest in long-range rockets and missiles and sophisticated air defences. So more alliance capability is really, really important." The war in Ukraine has underscored Europe's heavy dependence on the United States to provide long-range missiles, with Kyiv seeking to strengthen its air defences. Rafferty recently completed an assignment as commander of the U.S. Army's 56th Artillery Command [https://jetblacktransportation.com/ JetBlack] in the German town of Mainz-Kastel, which is preparing for temporary deployments of long-range U.S. missiles on European soil from 2026. At a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Monday, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius is expected to try to clarify whether such deployments, agreed between Berlin and Washington when Joe Biden was president, will go ahead now that Donald Trump is back in the White House. The agreement foresaw the deployment of systems including Tomahawk missiles with a range of 1,800 km and the developmental hypersonic weapon Dark Eagle with a range of around 3,000 km. Russia has criticised the planned deployment of longer-range U.S. missiles in Germany as a serious threat to its national security. It has dismissed NATO concerns that it could attack an alliance member and cited concerns about NATO expansion as one of its reasons for invading Ukraine in 2022. EUROPEAN PLANS Fabian Hoffmann, a doctoral research fellow at Oslo University who specialises in missiles, estimated that the U.S. provides some 90% of NATO's long-range missile capabilities. "Long-range strike capabilities are crucial in modern warfare," he said. "You really, really don't want to be caught in a position like Ukraine (without such weapons) in the first year (of the war). That puts you at an immediate disadvantage." Aware of this vulnerability, European countries in NATO have agreed to increase defence spending under pressure from Trump. Some European countries have their own long-range missiles but their number and range are limited. U.S. missiles can strike targets at a distance of several thousand km. Europe's air-launched cruise missiles, such as the British Storm Shadow, the French Scalp and the German Taurus, have a range of several hundred km. France's sea-launched Missile de Croisiere Naval (MdCN) can travel more than 1,000 km. They are all built by European arms maker MBDA which has branches in Britain, France, Germany and Italy. France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Britain and Sweden are now participating in a programme to acquire long-range, ground-launched conventional missiles known as the European Long-Range Strike Approach (ELSA). As part of the program, Britain and Germany announced in mid-May that they would start work on the development of a missile with a range of over 2,000 km. (Editing by Timothy Heritage)
